How to throw a kids pamper party
April, 2019. By: Charlene Smith
Children love to be just like the grown ups, whether it’s walking around in mum’s high heels, going through their big sisters makeup collection or wanting to do everything their dad does. Although it would be nice to keep them young forever they seem to be growing up so fast. The kids pamper party, allows them to experience a little bit of grown up glamour and pamper without any of the teenage tantrums. But how do you host a children’s pamper party? Let’s find out.
Any good party starts with the invitations. There are plenty of amazing invitations on the high street and online to choose from but to make the occasion really special, why not get creative and make your own. This could also be a really fun activity for you and your child to do together. Using coloured card and a printer, why not design your invitations in the shape of an eye mask, nail polish bottles or a compact mirror to fit in with the pamper theme. You could even use the invite to request that guests bring their dressing gowns. This will really get everyone in the spirit for the party.
Take inspiration from your favourite spa or pamper spot and decorate your party space in the same colours. If you’re not sure where to begin, opt for soft pastel colours to help create a relaxing environment. Make sure your guests have lots of places to relax and get pampered using blankets and pretty cushions. Birthday banners, balloons and paper pompom decorations also make great finishing touches for the room. Depending on the type of pamper activities you’ll be having at your party you could also set up a table and chairs with mirrors, soaking bowels and towel headbands for your guests to use.
Hire an Especially For You pamper party host to organise and oversee your party entertainment. This not only takes the stress away from you but also allows you to get involved and enjoy the fun. Our pamper parties include a host of your choice, nail makeover, hair makeover, glitter and gloss makeup, face mask, glitter tattoos, music, party games and a Parisian catwalk finale. What better way to make amazing memories with your children.
Food and Drink
In keeping with the pamper party theme why not serve afternoon tea. Use pretty cake stands to display an array of sandwiches and treats. Serve colourful fruit on cocktail sticks such as pineapple, strawberries and apple chunks for healthy but fun snacks. Homemade fruit smoothies will also make a healthy and tasty addition. For dessert go for pastel coloured cupcakes with sprinkles to match your pretty pastel colour scheme. Finally every birthday party needs a birthday cake, so choose or bake a cake that the birthday girl will really love.
Children’s party bags are a great way to round up a party but can become expensive. To keep the cost down shop at budget friendly stores that sell pamper products such as nail files, eye masks and nail varnish. You may even be able to buy some of these items as part of a set and divide them between each party bag. Throw in some sweets or chocolate and you’re good to go. You guests will be so impressed with your party bags and your pamper party and it will be the talk of all your friends for a long time to come.
